Having an estimated economic life time of more than 50 years, with an enourmous resistance to aging, ECB Geomembranes have been widely used in various important projects in Europe, Asia, Far East, South America, Middle East, etc markets since 1965 with much success.

Anadolu HisarıECB Geomembranes are applied by mechanical fastening and seam welding method in flat roof waterproofing and by loose laying and seam welding method in foundation, terrace, pond, etc waterproofing . Unlike bitumen membranes, ECB Geomembranes are applied by a single layer and the seams are welded by automatic hot welding machines in a homogeneous way. The welded seams can be tested by pressure using a manometer and a visual test is applicable by the help of the signal layer on top of the certain types of the ECB geomembrane. After all the tests are performed, the application is handed over to the control of the client.

ECB Geomembranes are produced by POLYFIN AG/Germany with the registered trade mark OC-PLAN®. The types with signal foil lamination which are used in the waterproofing of foundations, walls, tunnels, terrace roofs, land fills, ponds, irrigation channels, etc are called the 10 series; the types with glass fleece reinforcement in the middle and which are used for the waterproofing of flat roofs and foundations are called the 30 series; the types with glass fleece reinforcement in the middle and a special fleece lamination at the bottom which are used for the waterproofing of flat roofs and foundations ( due to the property of full bonding with fresh cast concrete ) are called the 40 series; the types with glass fleece reinforcement in the middle and a special self adhesive layer bonded at the bottom which are used for the waterproofing of flat roofs are called the 50 series.

The general thicknesses for the ECB Geomembranes are ; 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm and 2.0 mm for the waterproofing of foundations, tunnels, terraces, ponds, landfills, etc applications and these types have a signal foil laminated on the geomembrane.

The general net thickness for the ECB Geomembrane is 2.0 mm for the waterproofing of flat roofs and this type has a glass fleece layer in the middle of the geomembrane.
